In the Texas Hill Country on Lake LBJ

Welcome to Antlers

A Recorded Texas Historic Landmark and listed on the National Register of Historic Places

Painstakingly restored and...exceptionally comfortable. It's a good headquarters for visits to a number of interesting places.

The Antlers Hotel is the kind of place that makes me wish I owned a full-length white linen dress. Expansive landscaped grounds ...two-story clap- board hotel,  immaculately restored... a private little cedar cabin in the woods... vintage cabooses ... converted to cozy accommodations & the deluxe McKinley private coach, a smart 1880's wooden railcar.

Driving through Kingsland, I was surprised to see the very unusual Antlers Hotel, a 1901 railroad resort... lovingly restored...charming cabins dot the Antlers' grounds. But what really caught my eye were three cabooses...skillfully remodeled into the perfect place to stay with kids.
